Departure in the morning in 4×4 with driver from Ouarzazate to M’hamid, passing by the Draa Valley and its thousand and one kasbah millennia, along a palm grove for more than 200 Km.
Passing through the villages of Agdz and Zagora . Continue to M’hamid, last palm grove of the Drâa and the beginning of the desert to go on dromedary’s back to the bivouac, at the gates of the desert. Installation in the bivouac El Mezouaria, preparation for the night of New Year’s Eve.
The New Year’s Eve takes place under a starry sky in the middle of the desert around a great fire. A delicious traditional dinner will be served, including Moroccan Soup, a méchoui (whole sheep cooked in a special oven, smothered: festive specialty) couscous, and seasonal dessert, as well as tea, Moroccan pastries. Evening with folklore nomad, overnight camping El Mezouaria
After breakfast, walk on the back of the camel for an hour then departure in 4×4 by a sandy track for the large dunes of Chegaga, the largest dunes in Morocco, lunch under the shade of palm trees or tamarisks, in the afternoon resumption of the track towards Chegaga.
Arrival at the bivouac in chegaga to watch the sunset, dinner and overnight in a tent or under the stars.
Breakfast at the camp then depart by the track between the erg of Chegaga and the dried bed of the Drâa passing by the iriqui lake, then by Foum Zguid and continue by the road via Taznakht where lunch will be served then resume return, photo stops will be made during the day between Taznakht and Ouarzazate.
