New Year's Eve on a 3 day tour-departure from Marrakech

Day 1: 30 DecemberMarrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Agdez – Zagora-mhamid

8: 00 AM early morning, 4×4 departure to M’hamid via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, continue to reach the kasbah of Tamdakhte and that of Ait Ben Haddou then arrive in Ouarzazate where a tasty lunch will be served.

Departure to Zagora, on the way visit the town of Agdz, panoramic view of the Draa Valley, continue along the Valley until Tanskhirt end of the track.

Direction m’hamid on the road stop in Tamgroute for the visit of the Koranic library, the underground kasbah and pottery making. Continue to m’hamid arrival at the bivouac El Mezouaria, installation, dinner and entertainment around the campfire, overnight in tent

Day 2 : 31 DecemberM’hamid – Chegaga

After breakfast, walk on the back of the camel for an hour then departure in 4×4 by a sandy track for the large dunes of Chegaga, the largest dunes in Morocco, lunch under the shade of palm trees or tamarisks, in the afternoon resumption of the track towards Chegaga.

Arriving at the bivouac in chegaga to watch the sunset, preparing for the night of réveillon The New Year’s Eve takes place under a starry sky in the middle of the desert around a large fire. A delicious traditional dinner will be served, including Moroccan Soup, a méchoui (whole sheep cooked in a special oven, smothered: festive specialty) couscous, and seasonal dessert, as well as tea, Moroccan pastries.

Evening with nomadic folklore, night in bivouac chegaga

Day 3: 01 JanvierChegaga – lac Iriqui – Foum Zguid – Taznakht -Marrakech

Departure for Marrakech by the track between the erg of Chegaga and the dried bed of Drâa passing by the iriqui lake, then by Foum Zguid and continuation by the road via Taznakht.

Return by road to Marrakech, photo stops will be made during the day between Taznakht and Marrakech.
